Welcome to the Miramichi Resource Centre! Visit our office in the Geriatric Clinic located in the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Walk-ins welcome Mondays and Tuesdays from 9am to 4pm.

Contact us to be connected with information, education, and support through individual meetings, presentations and support groups. We are available to help you navigate the health care system and direct you to appropriate community services in your area.

Hi! My name is Emma MacDiarmid- I am a first link Coordinator at the geriatric clinic in the Miramichi. I grew up on the river and after spending some time away I have moved back home with my family. I have worked in the non-profit sector for many years and am passionate about advocating for others to make sure they are getting the care and attention they need.

I have a personal connection to Alzheimer’s disease, having lost my grandmother in 2024. I know first hand how impactful appropriate resources and supports can be for people on this journey. I am excited to be part of the team here at the Miramichi clinic and love getting to connect with patients and their families.
