Becoming Dementia Friendly

Learn the steps involved in becoming Dementia Friendly.

Dementia Friendly Framework

Both of these choices come at no cost to either businesses or those participating in the training.

Dementia Friendly Education

A training session delivered online to equip staff with a greater awareness and confidence in supporting individuals living with dementia.

Dementia Friendly Supporter Program

This program begins with an agreement outlining your commitment as a Dementia Friendly Supporter. We will work with you to schedule training for your staff and after completion by at least 75% of relevant staff, your organization will receive an Alzheimer Society decal to display at your workplace or website. This showcases your commitment as a Dementia Friendly Supporter. Annually our Society will visit to review your needs for additional training or support and discuss your staff’s experiences.
