Ways to donate
Your donation today will be put to immediate use help us provide essential services and valuable support to a growing number of people with dementia, their caregivers and family throughout the Niagara Region. There are over 11,751 people in the Region who are experiencing a progressive dementia, the most common of which is Alzheimer’s disease.
Official income tax receipts are automatically issued for all donations of $20 or more. If you would like a receipt for less than $20, please advise us. All donations are processed in Canadian dollars.
Donate online
To make a one-time donation online use our online donation form. A charitable tax receipt will be sent to you directly via email.
Donate via E-transfer
To make a donation through e-transfer, complete our e-transfer donation form. Once complete you will receive an email address with further instructions, including the email to send your e-transfer to. Please note we are setup for automatic deposit and you will not need to setup a security question (there are a few banks that do not support automatic deposit so please check with your bank if you are being asked to setup a security question).

Memorial Donations
Donate in memory of a relative, friend, neighbour, colleague or other loved one, and respect his or her legacy by helping others in need. Memorial donations can be made using our online form, through a funeral home or directly to the Alzheimer Society Niagara Foundation using one of the methods listed above. If requested, we will send a note to the family informing them of your donation. For online donations, you can also choose to send an e-card to the family to notify them of your thoughtful gift.
Become a monthly donor
Monthly giving is one of the most powerful ways to become a dementia champion. It is also an easy and convenient. When you become a monthly donor, your gift provides a source of income that we can depend on every month and helps ensure the continuation of our vital programs and services. Every gift, large or small, makes an ongoing and significant difference to the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias living in the Niagara Region.
Benefits of Monthly Giving:

Easily set up your monthly donation using our online donation form. You will be issued an annual tax receipt in January/February for all donations from the previous calendar year.
