Many voices, one message
Many voices, joined together to deliver the same message, can be a powerful force for change
All neurological disorders share common experiences as well as common links with one another, yet up until last year, there was no unifying body representing the interests of the neuroscience umbrella as a whole. One issue these conditions share is a general lack of understanding by policy makers and by the general public.
One of the main reasons the NHCC was created was to warrant more attention as a collective constituency, which will be able to expand reach and knowledge of neurological disorders, as well as put neurological disorders on the map with federal policy makers.
