On January 30, the Alzheimer Society of Canada visited Parliament Hill, asking MPs and Senators to learn what they could do as individuals and legislators in making the commitment to better brain health.

Dan McTeague, MP Brian Masse, MP

Honourable Dan McTeague, MP for Pickering-Scarborough East, Oakville
Currently, to maintain good brain health and good overall health, Dan says he is involved in lots of communication and reading.

Honourable Brian Masse, MP for Windsor West
Currently, to maintain good brain health and good overall health, Brain says he keeps active reading, playing basketball and regularly participates in many other activities with his children.
Peter Milliken, Speaker of the House of Commons and MP Peter Stoffer
Honourable Peter Milliken, MP for Kingston and the Islands, and Speaker of the House of Commons
Currently, to maintain good brain health and good overall health, Peter enjoys sudokus, reading, canoeing, and cross country skiing.
Honourable Peter Stoffer, MP for Sackville--Eastern Shore
Currently, to maintain good brain health and good overall health, Peter says he keeps active playing sports and music.
 

Honourable Alexa McDonough, MP for Halifax
Currently, to maintain good brain health and good overall health, Alexa says she is not doing enough! Alexa adds that "this is a very good process for people like me who are better at preaching healthy habits than practicing them!"
