Be a Fundraiser
Be a fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society on your time on your terms!
The Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex County relies on people like you to help us support people living with dementia and generate new knowledge about this devastating disease. Here are some ways that you can help us generate even more funds for our mission:
The Walk for Alzheimer’s is one of the Alzheimer Society’s biggest annual events across Canada, taking place in 150 communities to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer‘s disease and other dementias.
The walk will honour those who have passed and acknowledge the work that must be done to provide help and hope for those living with the disease today.
The 2016 Windsor and Essex County, Walk for Alzheimer’s took place on Sunday, May 29th, at Ford Test Track (3001 Seminole Dr., Windsor, ON).
This local event brings our community together by walking for one cause – family members and friends living with dementia – and the belief that together we can do something about this disease.
The 2017 Walk For Alzheimer's is scheduled to take place Sunday, May 28th, 2017, at the Ford Test Track.
