Title: Office Administration Volunteer 
Supervisor(s): Office Coordinator, Volunteer & Events Coordinator 
Time Commitment: Once weekly for 3.5 hours 

Purpose: The Office Administration Volunteer assists the Office Manager in completing everyday administrative tasks and responsibilities.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Answering the telephone
  • Greeting visitors
  • Receiving and recording donations
  • Examining local and regional newspapers
  • Making phone calls
  • Doing mail-outs
  • Additional tasks as assigned by staff

Qualifications 

  • Well-organized
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Punctual
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented

Orientation and Training:

  • Orientation and training to be provided prior to volunteerism
  • Dementia education to be provided as needed
  • Ongoing training to be provided throughout duration of position
