Public awareness

Want to learn more about dementia and how to keep your brain healthy? The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan educates the public about Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and ways to lower the risk of developing the disease.

At our Spring 2012 public forums, Dr. Carol Greenwood will present "Heads Up for Healthier Brains: The Diet Connection" in Regina and Saskatoon. Please follow these links for more information or to pre-register for a forum.

We also offer Understanding Alzheimer's Disease and Healthy Brain awareness presentations throughout the province. Presentations can be open to the public or closed to your group only. If you would like to book an awareness presentation for your community group or at your workplace, please us:

  • in Regina call 949-0141
  • in Saskatoon call 683-0011
  • elsewhere in Saskatchewan, call 1-800-263-3367

All awareness sessions are provided free of charge, but donations to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan are appreciated. We thank Fries Tallman Lumber for their generous support for the Society's Healthy Brain program.
