Gifts in Kind
The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan gratefully accepts a wide range of non-cash gifts, commonly referred to as gifts-in-kind. Examples include books, vehicles, travel credits, real estate, artwork, special equipment, and other tangible personal property. Sometimes the Society chooses to sell the property for cash proceeeds or uses items at events or in auctions. All property is reviewed as to use before formal acceptance. A third party evaluation must be provided to establish fair market value for the purposes of receipting.
