Recommended devices

Many devices are available to help people with dementia as the disease progresses. The Alzheimer Society does not endorse any specific devices, but the Public Health Agency of Canada offers a useful guide to assistive devices called “Go For It! A Guide to Choosing and Using Assistive Devices."

Consult your doctor about the advantage of using assistive devices, and be sure to ask your local Alzheimer Society for more information.
