Alzheimer Society Peel is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of culturally diverse individuals with various professional backgrounds in order to be representative of the community served and to ensure the current and strategic needs of the organization are met.
2016-2017 Board of Directors
Lisa holds a number of degrees and diplomas in the field of Human Resources as well as Adult Education. She is an experienced Consultant, certified in Change Management and Human Resources. Over 14 years progressive experience, focusing on Talent Management in the public sector. She currently works with the City of Mississauga as an Organizational Development Consultant.
Her specialties include supporting key city strategic organizational development programs and initiatives by providing consulting in the areas of change management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, performance consulting, succession planning, knowledge management, employee development, and ad-hoc OD interventions that assist leaders and their teams to meet strategic goals and provide excellent services.
MARYLYNN COOK Joined 2013
Paul Corbeil joined the Alzheimer Society Peel Board of Directors in June, 2012 and currently serves as Vice-President and Co-Chair of the Nominating Committee.
Paul is an accomplished and respected bilingual senior human resources leader and strategic business partner with over 14 years’ experience in large, complex, multiple stakeholder workplaces. He currently works at RBC Royal Bank as Manager, Employee Relations. He holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters of Industrial Relations. Paul brings with him his experience as a leader in human resources who has a refined ability to analyze human resource issues in order to prescribe and implement creative solutions that maximize organizational effectiveness.
Mr. Douglas has worked with the Peel Regional Police for over 20 years. During his time he has worked on a great many projects and in different Bureaus including working with the RCMP and the Ontario Provincial Police. He is currently assigned to 21 Division as a Platoon Sergeant. His is responsible for supervising, mentoring and providing direction to the officers on his shift
George has also been the Peel Regional Police Men’s Soccer team coach/manager/player for over 20 years. George has also coached youth soccer and hockey. During his years with Peel Regional Police George has been involved in a variety of charitable activities. George’s extensive knowledge of the Peel Region community will be a great asset to ASP.
Barry is an Inspector with Peel Regional Police with twenty-five years’ experience. He has held numerous roles in various divisions within the PRP and is currently assigned to the Duty Inspector's Office. Mr. Leslie is an accredited Level 3 Certified Municipal Manager through the Ontario Municipal Management Institute. He is also an active volunteer, both within PRP and in the community; He has coached Minor Hockey and Minor Baseball in Mississauga and has been a very active volunteer with Alzheimer Society Peel since 2002.
MS. INNA KOLDORF
Inna is an employment and labour lawyer and a workplace investigator. The founder of Koldorf Workplace Law, Inna assists companies with managing their workforce and addressing human resources legal matters. Inna completed a double major in Sociology and Law & Society before completing her law degree. Inna previously served as the Vice-President of the Northview Heights Early Learning Centre Board of Directors, a member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Continuing Legal Education Committee and a member of the Ontario Labour Relations Board Advisory Committee. She is currently serving on the Ontario Bar Association Continuing Professional Development Committee for the Labour and Employment Law Section, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce.
DAVID MAYLOR Joined 2013
Bev has worked for over 40 years in the health care sector. She holds her Nursing Degrees from England and her Bachelor of Arts in Health Science Administration and her Masters in Business Administration. Bev has worked as a Unit Administrator in Acute Care, Assistant director & Administrator in Long Term Care and more recently, as a Discharge Planner and Clinical Nurse Specialist with the Trillium Health Centre. Bev has chaired a number of committees within Trillium and at the various Long Term Care homes she worked within. Bev will bring her extensive experience and passion of working with Seniors and ensure that we continually stay focused on those individuals and families requiring our support.
Renu is an experienced leader who has held senior positions in diverse not-for-profit organizations, including Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, Prostate Cancer Canada, CNIB and UNICEF. Ms. Minhas experience is supported by Masters in Sociology, as well as a certificate in Human Resources. Renu is active in the community as a board member, having served as a Board Member with MHLHIN and served as President and Vice-President with India Rainbow Community Services of Peel, and has a personal connection with Alzheimer’s disease
Barry Nowoselski is a retired financial executive with broad range of investment, M&A and financing experience at Canada’s leading financial institutions including Manulife, RBC and Scotiabank. More recently, Barry has been working with a number of not-for-profit organizations including the Alzheimer Society Peel, Toronto Community Housing Corporation and the Lambton Golf & Country Club Finance Committee. Barry has MBA and BBA degrees from the Schulich School of Business and professional designations as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Investment Manager.
Priti has over 10 years experience in healthcare in progressively senior roles including 8 years’ experience in seniors’ health and specialized geriatric services. She has a B.Sc. in Biology and a Master in Business Administration with a minor in Health Services Management and Human Resources. Priti is currently the Clinical Manager for Seniors’ Services at Trillium Health Partners and previously served was the lead for the Aging at Home strategy for the M-H LHIN

Mary-Lynn Peters joined the Alzheimer Society Peel Board of Directors in June, 2011
Mary-Lynn has worked as a nurse for over 25 years. She holds her Bachelors and Master degree in Nursing, a certificate in Gerontology and a Post Masters Nurse Practitioner Certificate. Mary-Lynn currently works at the Credit Valley Hospital site of Trillium Health Partners, as a Nurse Practitioner in Geriatrics. Mary Lynn has been part of a number of professional publications and presentation regarding Geriatrics and supporting the Elderly. Mary-Lynn brings her direct front line experience with seniors through the Geriatric services within our local hospital setting, as well as her knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
Chris is a motivated Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant with NPO experience. He received an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business (York University) and also has a Certified Fraud Examiner designation. Mr. Tynan works as an Assistant Manager in Advisory Services for Deloitte where he has worked since 2009. Chris has a very personal connection with Alzheimer’s disease, and has witnessed the severe impact of the disease on his late grandfather.
