Walk for Alzheimer's 2018
Come Walk With Us!
Make the 2018 Walk for Alzheimer’s
The Best Yet - This Year’s Goal is $145,000.00
Canadians are living longer and age is the biggest risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. In Oxford County alone, there are over 2000 people who have Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and that is not including the number of family members and friends who are also affected. That number is expected to increase to 2,561 by the year 2028. That is a 22% increase. We still do not understand the causes and we have yet to find a cure. By walking, you can be a part of supporting those who are living with dementia in Oxford. You can honour the memory of those who are no longer with us and you can support those living with dementia today, live well.

Walker Wall of Fame
We could not have achieved the success we have with our Walks without the dedication, commitment and generosity of our sponsors, silent auction and door prize donors, volunteers and walkers. Walkers who have raised $5000 or more since the time they began walking in the Walk for Alzheimer’s have added to our success in a significant way and we want to recognize and honor these individuals.
