Barrie Police Home Safe Run
The Barrie Police Service is hosting the 2nd Annual Barrie Police Home Safe 5KM Run/Walk to benefit the Alzheimer Society – Simcoe County and Autism Ontario – Simcoe County.
The event will take place on May 14th, 2015, at 6:30pm, Heritage Park, along Barrie’s beautiful waterfront.
The first 150 registered participants will receive a 2015 Barrie Police Home Safe 5KM Run/Walk drytech moisture wicking t-shirt. Domino’s Pizza, Starbucks and Fox’s Bakery will be available post-race. Each runner will also receive a race kit, and a chance to win a dinner for two at Groovy Tuesday’s Bistro, $100 in Douglas Ford bucks (good for anything available at dealership), a complete auto detailing package from Douglas Ford, and other great prizes during the post-race draw, which is included in the registration fee.
Registration is available through the Running Room.
Even 'Blue' the Barrie police dog was ready to take part Wednesday evening in the department's Home Safe 5K Run around the lakeshore.
