Oxford Community Foundation Grant
March 10th, 2014
Training Room supplied with a television thanks to a grant from Oxford Community Foundation
With the grant from the Oxford Community Foundation, a flat screen television will be purchased for our training room in our new building.
With over 250 volunteers and nearly 5,000 donated volunteer hours each year, it is important to us to give our volunteers all of the training and resources that they need. This new television will help us to do that.
The Chair of the Grants Committee for the Oxford Community Foundation states, "We are very pleased to be able to provide funding for an essential part of the Alzheimer Society's work. The Oxford Community Foundation believes in encouraging and providing trained volunteers to help deliver services and, through their contributions, build a stronger and caring community of Oxford."
