Your donation will help us provide valuable services and support to a growing number of people with dementia, their caregivers and family throughout the Niagara Region. There are over 8,962 people in the Region who are experiencing a progressive dementia, the most common of which is Alzheimer’s disease.

Memorial Donations

Donate in memory of a relative, friend, neighbour, colleague or other loved one, and respect his or her legacy by helping others in need.  Memorial donations can be made through a funeral home or directly to the Alzheimer Society Niagara Foundation using one of the methods listed above.  We will send a note to the family informing them of your donation. 

Monthly Giving

Monthly giving is an easy and convenient way to support the work of the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region. When you become a monthly donor, you provide us with a source of income that we can depend on every month and every gift, large or small, makes an ongoing and significant difference to the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias living in the Niagara Region.

Benefits of Monthly Giving:

  • Convenient – once you’ve committed to monthly gifts, your donations will be made automatically until you advise us otherwise
  • Affordable – many donors find giving smaller monthly gifts are easily managed in their budget and supports this important cause year-round
  • Cost-effective – you will receive one cumulative tax receipt after the end of the calendar year. Less paperwork and administration means a more cost-effective method of giving

You may set up your monthly gifts to the Alzheimer Society Niagara Foundation through your credit card account or by providing post-dated cheques; simply download our monthly pledge donor form and return to us by mail or fax. Receipts

Official income tax receipts are automatically issued for all donations of $10 or more.  If you would like a receipt for less than $10, please advise us.  All donations are processed in Canadian dollars.
