Enhancing Care Conference


The conference, geared towards health-care professionals, offers a full day workshop intended to support the health care providers who provide care for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias with the goal of increasing knowledge and understanding of the various issues related to supporting a person with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia.

Positive Approach to Care - Skills that Make a Difference

This workshop offers an overview of many of the principles of the Positive Approach to Care philosophy by Teepa Snow. It will be interactive and will involve participants in activities that are based on Teepa Snow’s engaging teaching style. Instructional methods may include video clips of Teepa Snow, PowerPoint slides, demonstration, roleplay, and facilitated group discussion. Participants will see for themselves how PAC™ skills make a difference!
