Respite and stimulation services
Respite and Stimulations services
Respite and stimulation services play a significant role in providing support to informal caregivers who may benefit from a few hours to complete other important tasks, care for their own personal needs or simply do something pleasurable for themselves. They also grant the person living with Alzheimer’s or a related disease the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities, develop relationships, and use their skills and talents in significant ways. These are programs that bring many sighs of relief, and many moments of joy.
Thank's to L'Appui Montréal for their financial support.
We know that quality respite services can be difficult to access. Unfortunately many of our programs are at full capacity, so we regret that many new referrals may have to go on wait lists.
