The Art of Dementia Care : Innovative Strategies
An advanced training for health care professionals will be taking place Friday May 24, 2013 between 8am and 5pm at the Atwater Club. Renowned Dementia care expert, Teepa Snow will be presenting. Limited seating, 50$ for professionals and 25$ for full-time students. The presentation will be conducted in English; a simultaneous translation into french will be available.

The first Alzheimer Café in Québec !
The Alzheimer Café was initiated by Dutch Psychologist Dr. Bère Miesen in 1997 and we are proud to follow his lead. We will be giving talks, distributing information but most importantly enjoying each other’s company!

June 18: Summer Party! Concluding Café for 2012-2013 Season
We are excited about this initiative and look forward to its success and future expansion! This year`s theme is `Dementia: Living together' which is very closely connected to the goals of our partnership with the Atwater Library and Computer Centre. The Café will be held regularly at 1 PM on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
This program is free of charge and open to the public– presentation is provided in English
