Young Memory Guardians
Losing one’s memory and cognitive abilities has a dramatic impact on people with Alzheimer’s disease and on their community. The Alzheimer Society of Montreal (ASM) is very sensitive to this. As such, it is providing high school students with the opportunity to undertake a volunteer project with a person with Alzheimer's or a related disease.
Through the Young Memory Guardians contest, the ASM wishes to acknowledge the volunteer efforts of these young people at an official ceremony, by awarding them recognition certificates and by giving them the opportunity to win prizes they will appreciate.
