Volunteers play a key role at the Alzheimer Society of Montréal. They help us enrich the lives of people with Alzheimer’s disease and the lives of their families.

Volunteers are people like you.

Volunteering at the Alzheimer Society of Montreal…

…means devoting a few hours of your free time to a worthy cause and sharing your expertise. Often, volunteering is a personal way to thank those who have helped improve the quality of life of a person with Alzheimer’s disease.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteers gain a sense of well-being, self-worth, and satisfaction from the knowledge that they have tangibly contributed to an important project. With the help of volunteers, the Society can better serve people on the Island of Montreal who are touched by Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.

They are always ready to get involved, and their help allows the Society to provide quality services to people touched by Alzheimer’s disease.  We sincerely thank them for helping us bring hope to those who need it most.

Where we need you!

• Activity Centres
  Make a difference in the lives of people with Alzheimer’s disease by providing them with stimulating activities, while giving their loved ones a day of respite.
• Events
  Be a volunteer at one of our annual events or plan one of your own.
• Annual Fundraising Campaigns
  Get involved in numerous fundraising initiatives aimed at helping us achieve our mission.
• At Our Offices
  Give us a hand in our day-to-day tasks.

How to become a volunteer

To become a volunteer, you will need to submit a completed form and send it to us:

Furthermore, we ask you to send an updated Resume (CV) and a short letter of motivation, in order to get to know you better. Following the reception of these documents, we will contact you to schedule an interview.
