2013 Edition- Who are you walking for?

Sunday, May 26, 2013, we invite you to walk for the cause. Be part of the WALK FOR MEMORIES and join more than 1,000 people gathered to show their support to those who are living with Alzheimer’s or a related disorder.

Participate: Good weather, bad weather, join us for a 5km walk. Alone or in the company of children, colleagues, classmates, neighbours, everyone is welcome!

Cost: Registration fees are $10 per adult, senior, student and $25 per family (2 adults, 2 children).
Anyone who registers for the WALK FOR MEMORIES, on the Internet or by any other means, as a team leader, team member or elite walker must pay $10 (No receipt is issued for registration fees).
Each individual walker or team member, registered before Thursday, May 23 and who has raised more than $50 in donations, will receive a picnic lunch box after the Walk and will automatically have an official t-shirt from the Walk. Others may buy a lunch box for $5. However, you need to order the lunch box with us before Thursday, May 23rd, at 4:00 p.m. You will have to pay cash for the lunch box at the registration or at the drop off donations tables on the day of the event. You can also bring your own lunch!

Make a team: Become a team leader and encourage your family, friends, colleagues and neighbours to participate. How about forming a group with the residents of your establishment or building a team within your company? Invite more than five people to make your team. You can identify your team by wearing distinctive clothing or by showing your colors with banners. Make yourself standout!

Elite Walker: Raise a minimum of $200 in your network and we will give you a t-shirt of the Walk for Memories and become eligible to win a stay at Quebec City’s Château Laurier. Also, after the Walk, picnic lunch boxes will be given to all Elite Walkers.

Donor: Can’t walk? Make a donation! The money we collect will enable the Alzheimer Society of Montreal to pursue its mission.

Volunteer: The Walk for Memories requires more than 100 volunteers. This is a priceless aide to a memorable event!
