Be a fundraiser
Be a fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society on your time on your terms!
The Alzheimer Society of Greater Simcoe County relies on people like you to help us support people living with dementia and generate new knowledge about this devastating disease. Here are some ways that you can help us generate even more funds for our mission.

Exercise, have fun and raise money for your local Alzheimer Society at the same time! Walk or skate with us in January at events in Barrie (Holly Community Centre), North Simcoe (North Simcoe Sports & Recreation Centre, Midland) and hopefully new in 2013 - Wasaga Beach! Registration begins online in October at www.walkformemories.ca.

Whether it’s a birthday party, a cycling trip, a garage sale or marathon, you can raise funds your way to support the Alzheimer Society of Greater Simcoe County or the Alzheimer Society Research Program. Register your event and find ideas, tips and helpful suggestions to make it fun and rewarding for you and your friends.

The Alzheimer Society’s national fundraiser, Coffee Break® happens every September. Hosting a Coffee Break is an easy and fun way to support people living with dementia in your community. Click here for more information.

Time to find a new home for those pennies you have stashed away! Why not donate them to the Alzheimer Society? We have collection containers for groups wanting to do a penny drive, or you can drop off your pennies to our office any time! Click here for more information.
