About the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce
The Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to helping people affected by Alzheimer's disease or related dementias. In addition to providing programs to the community we also support research through the Alzheimer Society of Canada as well as the Centre for Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases. We serve Grey and Bruce counties with a population of 150,000 and an area of 8,663 square kilometers. Volunteers assist board governance, programs, fund development and awareness as well as office support. We currently have approximately 150 members and over 500 volunteers. We are associated with 38 local chapters, the Alzheimer Society of Ontario and the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
