We need your help!

A provincial dementia strategy is vital to the future of our Island health-care system. The costs of dementia are skyrocketing, and we need your help. By 2040, the cost to Canadians will be an incredible $293 billion per year. A Provincial Dementia Strategy has not been released but was submitted to the PEI government in June, 2011

Write to Minister Doug Currie today. Let’s tell him why a provincial dementia strategy is important to all Islanders. Here is a sample letter that you can attach and send by email

Subject Line: I support a provincial dementia strategy.

To send by mail, print the letter and mail to:

Hon. Doug W. Currie
PO Box 2000

Sharing your experience helps politicians better understand the impact of dementia on families across the province and will strengthen the power of your voice.

Tell others to speak up by emailing Minister Currie.

Together, we can drive change for all of our families and friends touched by dementia.
