T-Bone's Fresh Meal Markets fundraises over $7200 for the Alzheimer Society of B.C.

In December of 2015, T-Bone's Fresh Meal Markets fundraised for the Alzheimer Society of B.C. in order to help improve the lives of people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, as well as their families and caregivers.

T-Bone's owner Brian Ulveland did this by implementing a checkout donation so that customers were given the option of making a small donation when they made their purchase. At their four locations (Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon and West Kelowna) combined, they raised over $7,200.

Funds raised in each T-Bone's location will go directly to the Alzheimer Resource Centres in the Okanagan community. These centres help those concerned with or facing dementia build the knowledge, skills and confidence to maintain quality of life.

The Alzheimer Society of B.C. would like to thank T-Bone's customers and staff for their generous support, making a difference in the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
