Education

The Alzheimer Society provides many educational opportunities for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, partners in care, and health-care professionals.

For partners in care who are facing increasing difficulties at home, Care Essentials is the course for you.

For those who wish to experience what life is like for aging persons or persons living with dementia, you'll want to experience Welcome to My World.

For persons living with dementia and their partners in care, you'll want to attend A Changing Melody, learning and sharing forum usually held in the spring.

For partners in care (family or friends), you won't want to miss In My Shoes, a caregiver workshop held on the last Thursday in April.

For those wanting to learn tips and techniques to keep their memory sharp, Memory Boost is offered in Tweed on the last Thursday morning of each month.

You can also click on the Events Calendar to see upcoming education events.

For more information on any of these events or to register, please call 613-962-0892 or email us.
