Walk for Alzheimer's

THE NEW WALK: Traditionally named “Walk for Memories”, the Walk has a new title and a fresh look meant to unite all Canadians under one movement. Last year, The Walk For Alzheimer's raised over 5 million dollars across Canada last year alone. With your support, the Walk will remain the Alzheimer Society’s biggest annual event.

As part of this movement to unite all Walks across the Country, the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward has begun moving our large Walk events from January to May and June, taking place in outdoor locations to foster a larger community event for the entire family. Our Bancroft Walk for Alzheimer's is our last January Walk, taking place indoors at the North Hastings Highschool. Together, on January 28th 2017, we raised over $21,000. Thank you to everyone in the North Hastings community for their overwhelming support.

BELLEVILLE: As part of the move to the new Walks, Alzheimer Societies across the country are moving to Spring Walks, held outdoors and during April/May/June. As part of this, the Belleville Walk for Alzheimer's will be held on Sunday May 28, 2017 at the Lions Pavillion in Zwick's Park. Registration starts at 9:30 am.  Walk will begin at 10 am.

TRENTON: We will be hosting our Walk for Alzheimer's for Trenton at Centennial Park on Saturday May 13th 2017. Join us for registration at 9:30 am, with the walk beginning at 10 am. Join us at the cover pavillion!

PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY: For the first time, we will host a Prince Edward County Walk for Alzheimer's at Sandbanks Provincial Park, on May 6th, 2017. Registration starts at 12:30 pm. Walk begins at 1 pm.
