Scotiabank Hockey for Alzheimer's
The Alzheimer Society of B.C. would like to send a heartfelt thank-you to all of our volunteers, participants, donors and sponsors, who have made the Scotiabank Hockey for Alzheimer’s an incredible success. Over the past three years, the event has raised over $2 million dollars in support of those who face dementia in B.C. In 2015, the event raised more dollars than ever before, and that is something we can all be proud of.
Scotiabank Hockey for Alzheimer’s was comprised of four events: the Gordie Howe & Friends Luncheon, Draft Night, the two-day tournament itself and a spring golf outing with NHL Alumni. Like many of those who were involved with the event, we have made many wonderful memories that we will hold dear. Our greatest joy was having the opportunity to meet such dedicated volunteers, passionate participants and generous donors and sponsors: all of you truly helped us make a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
After careful consideration, the Society has decided to not move forward with the event. Thank you once more to all who contributed to the success over the years. Your efforts have been tremendous and have not gone unnoticed. Please click here to see many wonderful memories from the tournament.
