Donate in memory and in honour

Donate in memory of a relative, friend or colleague who has passed away, or in honour of any special occasion.

Forget Me Not pin

Memorial donations are a thoughtful way to acknowledge and pay tribute to the memory of a loved one who has passed away, while making an important difference in the lives of those touched by dementia.

If you wish to name the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia in an obituary, see the following example of wording that can be used:

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory to the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia. Please send donations by cheque to Suite 300 – 828 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 1E2 or donate online at alzbc.org.

You can also celebrate any special occasion – such as a birthday, anniversary, graduation, retirement or wedding – through a gift to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. If you would like to honour or remember a person living with dementia as part of your celebration with a gift to the Alzheimer Society, please contact us directly and we’ll customize a package for you.
