Discover the transformative power of volunteering!

As a volunteer with the Alzheimer Society of B.C., you'll help raise awareness, reduce stigma and improve the quality of life for people living with dementia and their families. Your time, knowledge and experience will be utilized as we work to achieve a common mission.  

We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities to support and engage with staff, caregivers, people living with dementia and community partners. We are actively recruiting for ongoing and event day roles.

Programs in need of immediate volunteer support

Event day volunteers

We are currently seeking event-day volunteers to support the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s, presented by Go Auto, on Sunday, May 26. As an event-day volunteer, you'll be at the heart of the action, spreading joy, lending a helping hand and creating memories that matter.

Locations:

  • Abbotsford, Burnaby & New Westminster, Chilliwack, Comox Valley, Delta, Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Nelson, Northern B.C., North Okanagan, North Shore, Oceanside, Richmond, South Okanagan, Tri-Cities and Ridge Meadows, Vancouver, Victoria, White Rock and Surrey.
