Helping people express their spirituality can offer comfort and support. People with dementia may also take comfort from continuing activities related to their faith. This might include activities such as lighting the candles on Sabbath, taking communion, watching religious services on TV and listening to spiritual music.

If she can no longer attend services, a minister, priest, rabbi or other spiritual leader may be able to come to her home.
